Lisa went to college planning to be a math teacher until she took her first accounting class. Right out of school she spent 9 years in public accounting followed by 13 years as controller of a corporate travel agency, visiting Europe and Hong Kong. After many happy years at home raising a son, she returned to work as the Controller of TOCC in 2010. Lisa’s son also works in accounting. Lisa’s husband is an architect and together they designed and built their own home together in 1999. Lisa’s next construction project would be her involvement in planning and budgeting for the 2013-14 Clubhouse remediation and Twin Grill remodel. She still remembers the layers of wallpaper and flooring that were unearthed during demolition. Other advancements she has witnessed over the years include better member engagement tools - our website, email, Group Valet, and electronic statement availability to name a few. Lisa’s best memories at Twin involve interaction with staff and board members. Lisa and her husband enjoy watching and attending professional and college sports. Lisa gardens both indoors and out. She also enjoys photography, crocheting and knitting. Back in high school, Lisa even sewed all her own clothes. Lisa is a long-time hockey mom. From the time her son was 5 years old until high school, the Morgan’s traveled all over Chicagoland and to Midwestern cities for games and weekend tournaments. Her son still stays close to the sport as an assistant coach in his free time.
